I have straight jumped to a health topic in my second post itself. So,why I chose #Brisk #Walking - #Tips and #Benefits? Simple, I took a long stroll after a very long time yesterday. And this gave me the inspiration to write about Brisk Walking. Let me tell you that this post is not going to be a detailed account of how each body part of yours is affected by taking a nice walk. I am only going to tell you about my personal feel good factors about brisk walking and some tips on the hows, whens and wheres of walking.
Brisk walking simply means walking at a pace that will make you breathe harder than usual. However, you should be able to talk properly but unable to sing while walking at that pace!

With so much of luxury and comforts that are available to us, we have become lazy potatoes to a big extent. Despite the health benefits associated to brisk walking, its a herculean task to make up the mind and body to take a walk. However,its only a starting trouble usually. Its does get difficult to take time out of for a walk from our busy schedules. However, practicing Brisk Walking for atleast 30 minutes daily is nothing less than a good workout in the gym. - Prepare yourself for the walk. Set the time for walk and decide on where you wish to go.
- Drink enough water before you leave. Carry a bottle as well if possible

- Choose a time of the day, when its less hot or cold.. This is just to ensure that you don't return halfway.
- Try to walk on roads that have people movement and are well-lit. Its always better to be safe even in broad daylight.
- If you are alone, you can choose to listen to your favorite music. Trust me, brisk walk with some music is a bliss. However, ensure you are safe, as listening to music may mean that you are not alert to your surroundings.
- Be sure to take a bath once you are back. You don't want your sweat and other dirty things sticking on to your otherwise beautiful skin.
